Eloise Runnette

Creative Director

Eloise’s earliest memory with Drama Spectrum was performing as an orphan in Annie at just five years old at The Radlett Centre. From that moment on, she developed a deep love for performing, creating many fond memories through the Sticks and Stones and Teenactor classes.

Eloise has had the opportunity to take on a number of dream roles. Highlights include Eve in Children of Eden at 18 and Eponine in Les Misérables. A particularly treasured memory, however, is playing a duck alongside her best friend in a Show in a Week summer school production of Pinafore Pirates – an experience that helped shape Eloise into the performer and teacher she is today, strengthening her belief in the power of ensemble work.

As Drama Spectrum has grown and evolved, Eloise remains deeply committed to creating an environment built on teamwork, kindness and creativity: values she is passionate about instilling in every student. Her training includes a BA (Hons) in Inclusive Performance from Chickenshed Theatre Company and an MA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Eloise’s professional credits include Paulette at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Sister Mary Robert in the UK & Ireland tour of Sister Act, a cameo appearance on BBC One’s Twenty Twenty Six, and Dolly in Jack and the Beanstalk at Salisbury Playhouse.

Alongside her performing career, Eloise is a dedicated singing teacher with Vocal Pryde and a core member of the Drama Spectrum weekly staff team, regularly rehearsing and directing full-scale productions. She also works with Chickenshed’s Space Between Us programme, supporting people living with dementia through music and movement.

Eloise is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers and loves supporting Drama Spectrum students throughout their journey with us to ‘infinity and beyond’…
